Coconut Oil comes from Kerala. The oil is made from coconut milk and is triple filtered in a process that produces Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. It contains a high concentration of natural lauric. Natural lauric is one of the ingredients in the oil believed to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Coconut Oil contains Medium Chain triglycerides or MCT which has been shown to help reduce weight and improve satiety. The oil is made without any chemicals used in the process.
Due to the global state-of-the-art process of extracting oil from fresh raw coconut milk as compared to dried coconut (copra) in coconut oil, the cold-press process of Centrifugal extraction helps virgin coconut oil to retain all the micronutrients of fresh coconut, most importantly: Phytochemicals present in coconut; phytosterols, polyphenols, Vitamin E and different kinds of antioxidants and also ensure a shelf life of over 18 months, naturally.
How to Use:
Coconut oil can be used in your smoothie to add good fat in your diet. It can also be used as a source of good fat in your cooking or when you consume products that require fat for absorption. Coconut oil makes for an excellent mouth wash by helping to reduce bacteria. To use it as a mouth wash, you can practice oil-pulling or swirling the coconut oil in your mouth for up to twenty minutes. Remember to spit the oil out and never swallow.
Coconut oil contains Medium Chain Triglycerides or MCT. MCT is believed to improve satiety or feeling full, reducing hunger and cravings. MCT is also a good source of fuel for the brain.
